Win exactly the number of tricks you bid each round. Predict precisely β not more, not less β to score points. The player with the most points after all rounds wins.
π Setup
Each round, every player is dealt a set number of cards (varies by round).
A trump suit is declared at the start of each round β trump cards beat all other suits.
Some rounds have No Trump β all suits are equal.
π’ Bidding
Before play, each player bids how many tricks they expect to win.
Bids go around the table. The dealer bids last.
Dealer constraint: The dealer cannot bid a number that would make the total bids equal the number of cards dealt β someone must be wrong!
You can bid 0 β meaning you plan to win no tricks at all.
βΆοΈ Playing Tricks
The player left of the dealer leads the first trick.
Players must follow suit if they can. If you can't follow suit, you may play any card β including trump.
The highest card of the led suit wins, unless a trump card is played β then the highest trump wins.
The number of cards dealt changes each round. In a 5-round game you go from 5 cards down to 1. In a 10-round game it goes 10 β 1. In a 20-round game it goes 10 β 1 then back up 1 β 10. Each round has a different trump suit.
