How to Play

β™  β™₯ ♦ ♣

🎯 Objective

Win exactly the number of tricks you bid each round. Predict precisely β€” not more, not less β€” to score points. The player with the most points after all rounds wins.

πŸƒ Setup

  • Each round, every player is dealt a set number of cards (varies by round).
  • A trump suit is declared at the start of each round β€” trump cards beat all other suits.
  • Some rounds have No Trump β€” all suits are equal.

πŸ“’ Bidding

  • Before play, each player bids how many tricks they expect to win.
  • Bids go around the table. The dealer bids last.
  • Dealer constraint: The dealer cannot bid a number that would make the total bids equal the number of cards dealt β€” someone must be wrong!
  • You can bid 0 β€” meaning you plan to win no tricks at all.

▢️ Playing Tricks

  • The player left of the dealer leads the first trick.
  • Players must follow suit if they can. If you can't follow suit, you may play any card β€” including trump.
  • The highest card of the led suit wins, unless a trump card is played β€” then the highest trump wins.
  • The trick winner leads the next trick.

πŸ” Rounds
